At present, how many articles are there under the Indian Constitution and in how many parts are they divided?

At present there are 449 articles under the Indian Constitution which are divided into 25 parts. And there are twelve schedules in the Indian Constitution.

Initially, the constitution consisted of only 22 parts and 395 articles with 8 schedules. However, many amendments have been made to the constitution since its inception. As of 9 January 2019, a total of 124 Amendment Bills have been introduced, out of which 103 Amendment Acts have been enacted.

The 124th Constitutional Amendment Bill was passed in the Parliament on 9 January 2019 by a special majority of Article 368 (Constitutional Amendment), under which the economically weaker general category was allowed to enter the educational institutions on 8 August 2016. 101st Constitutional Amendment.)
