On 20 July 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin went from the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. He then served as a corporate spokesperson for several businesses.  Armstrong spoke in public inventions. Hosted a science series. Also taught in college. Born on 5 August 1930, Armstrong died in 2012 at the age of 82.

2. Buzz Aldrin:

Aldrin also went on an Apollo 11 mission. He was the second person whose steps to the moon. At the age of 86, Aldrin also set a record by reaching the South Pole (South Pole). He became the oldest person to do so. After acquiring the title in 2016, he said, "I saw death very close." 90-year-old Aldrin lives in Florida.

3. Pete Conrad:

Pete Conrad was the third person to step on the moon. He was part of the Apollo 12 mission in November 1969. After retiring from NASA in 1973, he worked as a businessman. But in 1999, his motorcycle accident occurred in California, in which he lost his life. He was 69 years old.

4. Alan Bean:

The crew of Apollo 12 along with Conrad also included Alan Bean. He was the fourth person to step on the moon. After retiring from NASA in 1981, he became a painter and used his spacesuit pieces in paintings. This man left the world at the age of 86. He died in May this year.

5. Alan Sheppard:

Alan Sheppard, who was part of the Apollo 14 mission, stepped on the lunar Earth in February 1971. Shepard retired from NASA in 1974. He then started working in banking and real estate. He died in 1998 in leukemia. He was 74 years old.

6. Edgar Mitchell:

Edgar Mitchell was the sixth person to step on the moon with Shepard on an Apollo 14 mission.  After retiring from NASA in 1972, he helped a non-profit organization, the Institute of Noetic Sciences in California, which researches ESP and other mental phenomena. In 2016, 85-year-old Michelle died in Florida.

7. David Scott:

Apollo 15 Classic astronaut David Stock went to the moon in July and August 1971. After being retired from NASA in 1977, he worked as a writer. In addition, he became a consultant for books and documentaries about his space program. Stocks live in Los Angeles, California.

8. James Irwin:

James Irwin became the eighth man to walk on the moon. He retired from NASA in 1972 and founded the Christian religious outreach organization High Flight Foundation. Irwin died of a heart attack in 1991. He was 61 years old. Because of this, he became the first person to die of the moon.

9. John Young:

On April 16, 1972, John Young became the ninth man to walk on the moon, going on the Apollo 16 mission. He worked for NASA for nearly 40 years before retiring in 2004. The reason for this was to work on the space shuttle Columbia mission. John died in January this year. He was 87 years old.

10. Charles Duke:

Charles Duke was part of the same Apollo 16 mission, with John Young. Charles is the tenth person to visit the moon. He retired from NASA in 1975, after which he started working in the prison ministry. Now Charles is 84 years old and lives in Texas. During this time he is the Chairman of the Board of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.

11. Eugene Serran:

Eugene Cernan was the 11th person to go to the moon during the Apollo 17 mission. Cernan is also the person who left his footprints on the lunar surface for the last time. He retired from NASA in 1976 and started working in private industry.  Apart from this, he also used to work as a commentator for 'Good Morning America'. Cernan died in Texas in January 2017. He was 82 years old.

12. Harrison Schmidt:

Harrison Schmidt, who stepped on the moon, was the Geologist (geologist) on the same Apollo 17 mission that Eugene Sermon visited. After retiring from NASA in 1975,  Represented New Mexico as a Republican for a year in the Senate. Harrison has also taught at the university level. He is 85 years old and lives in New Mexico.
