How to choose a developer for your hair

Color Hair developer is an essential part of the hair coloring process. The developer contains hydrogen peroxide, an active ingredient that helps to open hair cuticles. The developer you choose when coloring your hair determines how light or how dark your color is going to look. Choosing the developer of the right volume, as well as mixing it correctly, will help confirm that your hair is going to look just as beautiful as you thought.

Method 01: Selecting the developer volume

Use Volume 10 to lift your color to a single level. Because Volume 10 contains 3% hydrogen peroxide, it is the weakest or weakest developer level.  If you want a darker color than the current color of your hair and you don't need a lift in them or want to remove the existing color, then volume 10 would be a good option

 If your hair is thin or very fine, then because it is not very strong, it is recommended to use it.

 Because it will balance toner, so if you are thinking of using toner, then it will be good for you. If your hair color is like brass or copper, then you will need to use toner.

 Choose Volume 20 Developer to change your hair color from 1 to 2 shades. Because Volume 20 contains 6% hydrogen peroxide, which is a moderate amount, it is the most popular developer.  If you want to cover gray hair, then this option is also good for you.

 Because volume 20 is very strong for the cuticle of your hair, it is good for thick hair.

 Choose Volume 30 Developer to change your hair color from 3 to 4 shades. Volume 30 contains 9% hydrogen peroxide and is ideal for changing your hair color to multiple shades.  It is very strong and, as it can damage thin or fine hair, it should only be used on thick or thick hair.

 Many store-bought hair dyes and developer packets have a volume 20 or volume 30 developer.

 Avoid using a Volume 40 developer to avoid damage to your hair. Because Volume 40 is very strong and if applied improperly, will dry out your hair, so it is recommended for non-professional use.  Is not done.  This developer level is often used only for large hair color changes and should not be used at home.

 If you feel that it is necessary to use volume 40 to dye your hair properly, go to your local salon and ask a professional to dye your hair.

Method 02: - Developer Purchase

For an easy alternative, look for a hair dye and developer sold together: The developer is often sold in a package with hair, so you don't have to worry about choosing the right volume for him.  It is ideal to bring them together, because the developer present in it will be present in the correct strength for the color of the package.

 However, keep in mind that it is possible that the hair color in the box will look different on you than the model on the box.  Hopefully, the image on your hair color box may have one or two shades dark or light.

 If you have purchased a tube of dye, buy the developer separately. If you have purchased a tube of hair dye, then the developer should buy separately.  Choose the developer volume you need.  Buying a developer separately You may find it helpful to buy a developer separately to get the results you think.

 If you have purchased the box of the dye containing the developer, then it would not be a good idea to buy a separate developer.  For best results, use the developer in the box.

 You should also think about buying a dye and developer of the same brand, so that both of them are confirmed to work well together.

 Buy more than the developer and hair color you feel: Due to lack of developer and hair color during the dyeing process, your hair will later look the same or incorrectly dyed.  Take the extra box of the developer and the hair color, because you will have more color now, so stop this from happening.

 A good rule for this is that you get 2 to 3 boxes for long hair (from shoulder to bottom) and 1 to 2 packets for short hair (above the shoulder) and hair developer.

Method 03: Combining Developer and   Hair Dye

Wear gloves and hairdressers cape. Wearing latex or nitrile gloves will protect your hands from dye.  Before mixing and applying the dye, wear a pair of clean gloves.  In addition, to protect the dye and the developer from falling on clothes, you should also wear a hairdresser cape or an old shirt.

 To keep your bathroom or kitchen counters safe, spread the newspaper around the sink.

 Identify the developer and the dye ratio from the package. Mostly, the dye ratio of the developer is 1 part hair color and 2 parts of the developer.  To confirm the use of the recommended amount, check the fiber on the hair dye package.

 Do not guess if you are not sure about the fiber.  If you do not mix the right proportion, then your hair will not get into the result you want. Ask a hairstylist or salon and ask them to dye your hair.

 Mix the developer and the dye together: Combine the developer and the right amount of hair dye together in a plastic bowl.  Use a developer and dye using a plastic spoon.  Confirm that the dye and the developer have met well.  Then, apply mixtures in your hair as you wish.

 If you want to dye your entire hair, then apply dye all over your head, starting from the ends of the hair and then going to the roots.

If you only want to highlight your hair, then you have to section your hair and then dye only on a particular section.  If you wish, you can use foil strips to wrap each section and then prevent the dye from dripping on the rest of the strands.
