A mysterious new Korana virus is spreading rapidly. The whole world is afraid of its corona virus. Research councils under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India have issued a warning based on Indian traditional medicine systems - Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani.
According to Ayurvedic traditions, the following measures have been suggested for prevention management -

In an initiative of the Ministry of AYUSH, the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy (CCRH) discussed the methods and measures for prevention of coroma virus infection in its 64th meeting of Scientific Advisory Board on 28 January 2020. The group of experts recommended that the homeopathy drug Arsenicum album 30 be adopted as a prophylactic drug against corona virus infection, which has also been suggested for the prevention of ILI. It recommended a dose of Arsenicum album 30, used daily for three days on an empty stomach. The dose should be repeated after one month so that the same schedule of corona virus infection that prevails in the community can be followed. Apart from this, the Expert Group has suggested that the public health measures suggested by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India should be followed by the public for prevention of the disease.
Unani medicines useful in symptom management of corona virus infection
Dietary advice is advisable for dipper, light and soft diet according to the suggestions of Greek doctors.
- Maintain personal hygiene.
- Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water.
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Drink Shadang Pania (Musta, Parpat, Ushir, Chandan, Udichya and Nagar) processed water (boil 10 grams of powder in 1 liter of water until it reduces to half). Store it in a bottle and drink when thirsty.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with hands without washing.
- Avoid close contact with people who are ill.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your face during a cough or sneeze and wash your hands after coughing or sneezing.
- Clean frequently touched objects and surfaces.
- To avoid infection, use an N95 mask while traveling or working in public places.
- If you suspect a corona viral infection, wear a mask and contact your nearest hospital immediately.
- Prophylactic measures / immunomodulatory drugs according to Ayurvedic practices.
- Measures will be taken to strengthen the immune system through a healthy diet and lifestyle.
- Agastya Haritaki 5 grams, with hot water twice a day.
- Seshamani Vati 500 mg twice a day.
- Trikatu (Pippali, Maricha and Shunthi) powder 5 gms and basil 3-5 leaves (boil in 1-liter water, till it reduces to ½ liter and keep it in a bottle) as needed and whenever you want. Take it in a sip.
- Idioms Nasal: Add two drops of Anu oil / sesame oil daily to each nostril in the morning.

- Sharbat Unnab 10-20 ml twice a day
- Obtrusive 3-5 grams twice a day
- Oblique nazala 5 grams twice a day
- Khamira Marwarid 3-5 grams once a day
- Massage the scalp and chest with Rogan Baboon / Rogan Mom / Kafuri Balm
- Apply thick lacquer to the nostril
- Take 4-8 drops of extracts in fresh water and use them four times a day
- In case of fever, take two tablets of Hub-e-Exir fever with lukewarm water twice a day.
- Drink 10 ml Sharbat Nazla twice daily in 100 ml lukewarm water.
- Qurs A Sowal 2 tablets should be chewed twice daily
