There are some scenes that shine bright but they are few and far between.

These unnecessary plots distract the audience from the actual plot which in turn makes it less engaging. The series tries to sum up too many things at once. It mentions all the recent scams that the country saw, illegal sand mining in Madhya Pradesh, cryptocurrency references and you certainly cannot miss the painting on a farmhouse which mentions that only cows are allowed to drink from here. Allowed. Where this leads is anyone's guess, but what relevance they have to the plot is incomprehensible. Being relevant and contemporary certainly does not mean throwing contemporary events at the audience.
Raj Kaushal, who passed away recently, has directed the series and the series was a great opportunity for him to announce his foray into the OTT world with a brilliant piracy story. Alas, it was not so. Aman Khan's handwriting is everywhere; There is no such thing as structure or coherence. The series consists mostly of newcomers or relatively unknown actors and except for a few, the acting seems rudderless. The same is true of dialogues but it gets interesting when the economics are explained in layman's language by Shishir Sharma's character. Vicky Arora as Bhargava and Shishir Sharma as economics teacher aka Guruji are the only two liberating characters.
Akkad Bakkar can serve as a lesson to all the filmmakers on how not to deal with robbery conspiracies. If Money Heist was able to garner fandom from all over the world, the paramount reason was that the momentum didn't stop for a moment, despite the shortcomings being addressed. Imagine if Money Heist had been made with some songs and some parallel plots running alongside the main story. you get the picture!
